Yasir spins out England middle order: 1st Test, Day 2 (Lords)

Leg spinner Yasir Shah’s 5-64 gave Pakistan the edge as England suffered a middle order collapse to close on 7-253.

Only Cook (81) was able to show discipline after Hafeez dropped a standard first-slip catch. Sarfraz barely got one of his wicketkeeping gloves on a second chance offered by Cook.

Earlier, Chris Woakes with figures of 6-70 hastened Pakistan's innings before Stuart Broad ended Misbah-ul-Haq’s superb innings on 114.

England 253 for 7 (Cook 81, Yasir 5-64) trail Pakistan 339 (Misbah 114, Shafiq 73, Woakes 6-70) by 86 runs.
