Herath hat trick destroys Australia: 2nd Test, Day 2 (Galle)

Rangana Herath took a hat trick and finished with figures of 4-35 as Australia were bowled out for their lowest Test score (106 all out) against Sri Lanka.

Chasing a daunting 413 to win, Australia lost three second-innings wickets in the six overs it faced to end on 25-3 at stumps on the second day.

Australia 106 (Warner 42, D Perera 4-29, Herath 4-35) and 25 for 3 (Warner 22*, Smith 1*) need another 388 runs to beat Sri Lanka 281 and 237 (D Perera 64, Starc 6-50).
