Dhananjaya ton rescues Sri Lanka: 3rd Test, Day 1 (SSC)

Rookie Dhanajaya de Silva (116 not out) steered Sri Lanka out of serious trouble at 26-5 and into a strong position at 214-5 against Australia.

After Lanka’s top five specialist batsmen fell cheaply on a good track, No.7 Dhananjaya posted an unbeaten on 116. He and Dinesh Chandimal (64 not out) shared a 188-run unbroken stand to ensure the horror series continued for Australia.
