Herath spins out Aussies after Smith, Marsh tons: 3rd Test, Day 3 (SSC)

Veteran spinner Rangana Herath took six wickets to help Sri Lanka dismiss Australia for 379, after the tourists lost their last 5 wickets for just 26 runs.

Australia was boosted by a 246-run partnership between skipper Steve Smith (119) and Shaun Marsh (130) to take a 24-run lead in response to Sri Lanka's first innings total of 355.

Sri Lanka 355 and 22 for 1 (Karunaratne 8*, Silva 6*) trail Australia 379 (S Marsh 130, Smith 119, M Marsh 53, Herath 6-81) by 2 runs.
