Quinton de Kock rewrote the record books by smashing a career best 178 from 113 deliveries in South Africa's 6 wicket victory over Australia.

de Kock's magnificent innings was the highest by a batsman against Australia and ensured South Africa cantered home with 14.3 overs to spare.

Earlier, George Bailey's 74 and John Hastings 51 enabled the Australians to bat out their 50 overs and post a formidable target of 294/9.

South Africa 295 for 4 (de Kock 178, Boland 3-67) beat Australia 294 for 9 (Bailey 74, Phehlukwayo 4-44) by six wickets.
