Quinton de Kock smashed a brilliant century to leave Australia fighting for survival, still 120 behind South Africa with 8 wickets remaining.

Temba Bavuma (74), Quinton de Kock (104) and Vernon Philander (32) posted valuable runs as South Africa was eventually bowled out for 326, a lead of 241. Josh Hazlewood wrapped up the tail, taking 6-89.

Australia 85 and 2 for 121 (Khawaja 56*) trail South Africa 326 (De Kock 104, Bavuma 74, Hazlewood 6-89, Starc 3-79) by 120 runs.
