Williamson shines as Aussies escape: 2017 CT AUS v NZL (Birmingham)

Skipper Kane Williamson led from the front with a brisk century (100 from 97 balls) as New Zealand posted 291 in a rain disrupted match against Australia.

Luke Ronchi scored a quick 65 off 43 balls as Josh Hazlewood took 6-52 to slow down the Kiwis at the death.

In reply, Adam Milne's double strike reduced Australia to 53-3 off nine overs, chasing a revised target of 235 off 33. Rain intervened to let Australia off the hook and leave the sides sharing the group A points.
