Sri Lanka stun India in epic upset: 2017 CT IND v SRL (Oval)

Sri Lanka chased down 322 to stun title holders India with a seven-wicket win. This was the highest ever chase in Champions Trophy history and matched Sri Lanka's previous highest run chase.

Danushka Gunathilaka (76) and Kusal Mendis (89) shared a stand of 159 before Angelo Matthews (52 not out) and Asela Gunaratne (34 not out) saw their side home with eight balls to spare.

Earlier, Shikhar Dhawan smashed 125 and shared an opening stand of 138 with Rohit Sharma (78) to help India post an imposing 321-6.

Sri Lanka 322 for 3 (Mendis 89, Gunathilaka 76, Mathews 52*) beat India 321 for 6 (Dhawan 125, Rohit 78, Dhoni 63) by seven wickets.
