India outplayed South Africa by eight wickets to reach the semi finals.
Put into bat by India, South Africa suffered an almighty collapse. The lost their last eight wickets for 51 runs, including three run outs - to be bowled out for 191 as Bhuvneshwar (2-23) and Bumrah (2-28) applied the brakes.
In reply, Shikhar Dhawan made 78 off 83 balls with 12 fours and a six while captain Virat Kohli remained not out on 76, made from 101 balls with seven fours and a six as they added 128 runs for the second wicket partnership which took the game away from the Proteas.
India 193 for 2 (Dhawan 78, Kohli 76*) beat South Africa 191 (De Kock 53, Bhuvneshwar 2-23, Bumrah 2-28) by x wickets.
