Ugly pay dispute: Aussie stars made unemployed by board

Australian cricketers will boycott an Australia A tour of South Africa and the series in Bangladesh unless Cricket Australia (CA) takes action within days to resolve a bitter pay.

The ugly disagreement between Cricket Australia and its players – which could at worst affect this year’s Ashes series – has now degenerated into a full-blown fight.

For now, both male and female players, employment by Cricket Australia is over. Shane Watson and Usman Khawaja add their comments after the conclusion of the players association meeting in Sydney.
