SL let Zimbabwe off the hook after Raza heroics: 1st Test, Day 3 (RPS)

In another curious performance, Sri Lanka let Zimbabwe recover from 29-4 to a dominant 252/6 at stumps.

Sikandar Raza (97 not out) was the saviour as the visitors managed to take a lead of 262 runs in second innings.

All rounder Raza shared stands of 86 runs for the sixth wicket with keeper Peter Moor (40) and an unbroken 107-runs for the seventh wicket with Malcolm Waller (57 not out).

Zimbabwe 252 for 6 (Raza 97*, Waller 57*, Herath 4-85) lead Sri Lanka 346 (Tharanga 71, Chandimal 55, Gunaratne 45, Cremer 5-125) by 262 runs.
