Late Gabriel strikes rock NZ: 2nd Test, Day 1 (Hamilton)

Paceman Shannon Gabriel struck late in the day with the new ball as New Zealand lost 2 quick wickets to finish at 286-7.

Gabriel clean bowled both Mitchell Santner (24) and de Grandhomme and finished with figures of 3-79.

Earlier, Jeet Raval and Colin de Grandhomme struck half-centuries for New Zealand as the home side appeared to be coasting to a dominant score at stumps.

New Zealand 286 for 7 (Raval 84, de Grandhomme 58, Gabriel 3-83) v West Indies.
