Sri Lanka hit back after Razzak, Taijul spin: 2nd Test, Day 1 (Dhaka)

Recalled veteran spinner Abdur Razzak and fellow left-arm spinner Taijul Islam claimed four wickets each to wrap up the Sri Lankan innings for 222 but Sri lanka hit back hard late in the day.

Paceman Suranga Lakmal picked up two wickets to leave Bangladesh tottering at 56-4 at stumps.

Earlier, 35-year-old Razzak returned impressive figures of 4-63 on his comeback. Newcomer Roshen Silva made 56 and Kusal Mendis top-scored with 68.

Bangladesh 56 for 4 (Liton 24*, Lakmal 2-15) trail Sri Lanka222 (Mendis 68, Roshen 56, Razzak 4-63, Taijul 4-83) by 166 runs.
