SL win crown after Madushanka debut hat trick: 2018 Tri Nations Final (Dhaka)

Debutant paceman Shehan Madushanka became the fourth bowler in history to claim a hat-trick on debut as Sri Lanka crushed Bangladesh by 79 runs to win the Tri-nation ODI tournament.

Sri Lanka collapsed after opting to bat. Upul Tharanga (56), captain Dinesh Chandimal (45) and Niroshan Dickwella (42) boosted Sri Lanka's score before a familiar collapse saw them fall from 158-3 to 221 all out.

Thanks to Madushanka's late strikes, Sri Lanka bowled out Bangladesh for 142. Mahmudullah staged a valiant fight for Bangladesh with 76 off 92 balls.

Sri Lanka 221 (Tharanga 56, Chandimal 45, Rubel 4-46) beat Bangladesh 142 (Mahmudullah 76, Madushanka 3-26) by 79 runs.
