1946: Bradman and Hassett blast England (Brisbane)

The First Test opens in scorching weather with Australia winning the toss and batting first. The Aussies went on to amass the record total of 645 and the outlook for England is bleak.

Bradman (187) and Hassett (128) posted a record partnership and Australia won easily.
