Kohli masterclass delivers 5-1 series win: 6th ODI (Centurion)

Skipper Virat Kohli hit his 35th ODI century to lead his side to a decisive 5-1 victory over the Proteas as India secured an eight-wicket victory.

Khaya Zondo (54) showed some fight but South Africa stumbled to post only 204. Shardul Thakur took four wickets while Jasprit Bumrah and Yuzvendra Chahal took two each.

Chasing 204, Kohli smashed his third hundred of the series as India romped home with almost 18 overs to spare.

India 206 for 2 (Kohli 129*, Rahane 34*) beat South Africa 204 (Zondo 54, Thakur 4-52) by eight wickets.
