Dowrich stands firms as SL take charge: 1st Test, Day 1 (Trinidad)
Keeper Shane Dowrich stroked a defiant 46 not out as the West Indies recovered to reach 246-6 after a middle order collapse.
Dowrich and skipper Jason Holder (40) put on 90 for the sixth wicket as Windies made a late fightback from a shaky 147-5.
Paceman Lahiru Kumara took 3-57 to put Sri Lanka on top.
