Rahul, Kuldeep down England: 1st T20 (Old Trafford)

K L Rahul smashed 101 not out in 54 balls as India ran down England's 159 with ease to go 1-0 up in the series.

Earlier, spinner Kuldeep turned around India's fortunes with the wickets of Eoin Morgan, Jonny Bairstow and Joe Root in the 14th over as England had looked set for a total in excess of 180.

India 163 for 2 (Rahul 101*) beat England 159 for 8 (Buttler 69, Kuldeep 5-24) by eight wickets.
