Roshen edges SL ahead of England: 2nd Test, Day 2 (Kandy)

Roshen Silva, recalled for the 2nd Test, hit a brilliant 85 to frustrate England and give Sri Lanka a lead of 46.

Opener Dimuth Karunaratne (63) and Dhananjaya de Silva (59) made half-centuries but Sri Lanka were in trouble on 6-165. They recovered to 336 all out after Silva batted well with a defiant Sri Lankan tail.

England 285 (Curran 64, Buttler 63, Dilruwan 4-61) and 0 for 0 (Leach 0*, Burns 0*) trail Sri Lanka 336 (Silva 85, Karunaratne 63, de Silva 59) by 46 runs.
