Finch powers win over Pakistan: 1st ODI (Sharjah)

Skipper Aaron Finch led Australia to a clinical eight-wicket victory in the opening one-dayer against Pakistan.

Finch smashed his 12th ODI century, and first in any format since last July, Shaun Marsh (91 not out off 102) and Peter Handscomb (30 not out off 27) steered the visitors home with an over to spare.

Earlier, Haris Sohail's maiden ODI ton had helped Pakistan reach 280 for five.

Australia 281 for 2 (Finch 116, Marsh 91*) beat Pakistan 280 for 5 (Haris 101*, Coulter-Nile 2-61 ) by eight wickets.
