Roy, Stokes claim series win over Pakistan after scare: 4th ODI (Nottingham)

Allrounder Ben Stokes hit match-winning form at just the right time as England survived a scare to beat Pakistan narrowly by three wickets and claim the series 3-0.

Opener Jason Roy smashed 114 but his wicket sparked a collapse of four wickets for 15 runs. Stokes (71 not out) and Tom Curran (31) rescued England and delivered the win with three balls to spare.

Earlier, Pakistan posted a healthy 340-7 thanks to Babar Azam's superb 115.

England 341 for 7 (Roy 114, Stokes 71*) beat Pakistan 340 for 7 (Babar 115, Hafeez 59, Fakhar 57) by 3 wickets.
