Leach leads England fightback: Only Test (Lords)

Nightwatchman Jack Leach struck 92 to revive England against Ireland.

Leach's second-wicket stand of 145 with Jason Roy (72) looked to have repaired  the damage of England being 85 all out in their first innings as England closed at 303-9.

At 248-8, England were just 126 ahead. But all rounder Sam Curran smashed 37 from 21 balls to get them 181 ahead of Ireland.

England 85 (Murtagh 5-13, Adair 3-32) & 303-9 (Leach 92, Adair 3-66) lead Ireland 207 (Balbirnie 55; Curran 3-28, Stone 3-29, Broad 3-52) by 181 runs.
