Rahane rescues India after collapse: 1st Test, Day 1 (Antigua)

Ajinkya Rahane silenced his critics with a patient 81 after India stumbled to 25-3 at one stage on a fast track.

After Roach and Gabriel rocked the Indian top order, Rahane received support from opening batsman K.L. Rahul (44) in a fourth-wicket stand of 68.

Rahane featured in another partnership with Hanuma Vihari (32), the pair putting on 82 for the fifth wicket.
