Denly has England in charge: 5th Test, Day 3 (Oval)

England has the upper hand over Australia as makeshift opener Joe Denly agonisingly fell six runs short of his maiden Test hundred.

Denly's 94 and Ben Stokes’ 67 was vital in helping England reach 313-8, leading Australia by 382 runs.

Marsh and Siddle struck 2 late blows but England are on track to win the 5th Test and draw this Ashes series 2-2.

England 294 and 313 for 8 (Denly 94, Stokes 67) lead Australia 225 by 382 runs.
