Pakistan claim series despite Gunathilaka century: 3rd ODI (Karachi)

Abid Ali struck a sweet 74 off 67 balls as Pakistan beat Sri Lanka by five wickets, taking the three-match series 2-0.

Sri Lanka faltered to 297-9 after opener Danushka Gunathilaka hit a career best 133 to get them off to a fast start.

Pakistan reached their target in 48.2 overs with openers Fakhar Zaman (76) and Abid Ali (74) laying the platform for the win. Haris Sohail chipped in with 56.

Pakistan 299 for 5 (Fakhar 76, Abid 74, Haris 56, Pradeep 2-53) beat Sri Lanka 297 for 9 (Gunathilaka 133, Shanaka 43, Amir 3-50) by five wickets.
