Lara describes his epic 400 not out world record

Brian Lara delivered an often explosive MCC Spirit of Cricket Cowdrey lecture at Lord’s attacking gamesmanship employed by the West Indies team of the 80s and 90s.

Lara holds the record for the highest Test score of 400 not out scored against England at Antigua in 2004.

He also reflected on his own behaviour claiming his team had at one stage played “the game in a way it should never, ever be played,” during the West Indies period of rule.

May 2017.
