Buttler thrashes Aussies, England win series: 2nd T20 (Southampton)

Opener Jos Buttler guided England to a six-wicket victory over Australia to clinch the three-match series 2-0.

Buttler smashed 77 from 54 balls as the hosts reached their target of 158 with seven balls left.

Earlier, Wood and Archer reduced Australia to 3/2. Skipper Finch steadied the ship with 40. From 30 for three Australia did well to reach 157 for seven.

England 158 for 4 (Buttler 77*, Malan 42) beat Australia 157 for 7 (Finch 40, Stoinis 35) by six wickets.
