Rampaging Pandya blasts Aussies to seal series: 2nd T20 (SCG)

Allrounder Hardik Pandya smashed 42 off 22 balls to seal a six-wicket win and unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series.

Chasing 195 for victory, India needed 14 runs from the last over. Pandya delivered with two runs off the first ball and sixes off the second and fourth deliveries off debutant Sams.

Earlier, Matthew Wade was named Australia’s 11th Twenty20 captain, and he led from the front with a typically aggressive 32-ball 58 as Australia posted 194-5.

India 4 for 195 (Dhawan 52, Pandya 42*, Kohli 40, Swepson 1-25) beat Australia 5 for 194 (Wade 58, Smith 46, Natarajan 2-20) by six wickets.
