Jamieson five rips thru Windies: 2nd Test, Day 2 (Wellington)

Allrounder Kyle Jamieson took his second career five-wicket haul to rip through the West Indies batting to leave them tottering on 124-8 at the close of play.

Jermaine Blackwood, who survived Jamieson's hat-trick ball, provided most resistance among the West Indies' batting lineup but was out shortly before stumps for 69.

Earlier, Henry Nicholls (174) was the last man out as he and Neil Wagner (66 not out) posted a 95-run partnership for the ninth wicket which allowed New Zealand to lift its overnight total of 294-6 to 460.

West Indies 124 for 8 (Blackwood 69, Jamieson 5-34, Southee 3-29) trail New Zealand 460 (Nicholls 174, Wagner 66*, Gabriel 3-93, Joseph 3-109) by 336 runs.
