Ashwin century dents Bangla, rescues India: 1st Test, Day 1 (Chennai)

Ravi Ashwin made a fighting century and was involved in a commanding partnership with Ravindra Jadeja to lead India to safety against Bangladesh at Chennai.

Coming together with India at 144-6, Ashwin struck 102 off 112 ball and combined with Jadeja (86) to take India to dominance at 339/6. The pair added 195 for the 7th wicket.
