Skipper Holder leads fightback after follow on: 2nd Test, Day 3 (Wellington)

Skipper Jason Holder made a defiant 60 not out to ensure play would go into day four after stumps were called off at 6pm for bad light.

Debutant keeper Joshua da Silva was 25 not out, adding an unbeaten 74 with Holder for the seventh wicket before play was halted with 17.2 overs left.

The Windies were 244-6, still 85 behind after being asked to follow on.

West Indies 131 (Blackwood 69, Southee 5-32, Jamieson 5-34) and (f/o) 244 for 6 (Campbell 68, Holder 60*, Boult 3-75, Jamieson 2-43) trail New Zealand 460 by 85 runs.
