Maiden Jerome Taylor ton saves Windies: 1st Test, Day 4 (Dunedin)

Paceman Jerome Taylor hit a maiden century 106 as West Indies fought back to finish with honours even.

Taylor whose previous highest firstclass score was 40 was involved in a thrilling partnership of 153 with Shiv Chanderpaul 76 as they were staring down the barrell at 173-6.

Daniel Vettori took 6-56 as the Windies were dismissed for 340. The Kiwis ended play on a shaky 44-2.
