Kohli defies NZ, leads from front: WTC Final (Rose Bowl)

Skipper Virat Kohli kept New Zealand at bay as bad weather cut short the World Test Championship final.

After a bright start by the Indian openers, NZ fought back in the 64.4 overs that were possible on day two. The entire Day 1 was washed out.

India were struggling at 88/3 but ended at 146-3 with Kohli holding firm on 44 not out in 128 balls.

India 146-3 (Kohli 44*, Rohit 34; Jamieson 1-14) vs New Zealand.
