Buttler inspires win over Pakistan: 2nd T20 (Edgbaston)

Skipper Jos Buttler smashed 84 to power England to a 23 run win over Pakistan.

Buttler’s efforts saw England post 183 for 7. A late application of the brakes by Pakistan’s Shaheen Shah’s 3-36 slowed down England at the death.

Two wickets apiece from Moeen Ali and Jofra Archer restricted Pakistan to 160 all out. Fakhar hit 45 from 21 balls. Jofra Archer made a successful return after a long injury layoff by taking 2-28.

England 183 for 7 (Buttler 84, Shaheen 3-36) beat Pakistan 160 (Fakhar 45, Topley 3-41) by 23 runs.
