2001: Tendulkar inspires series win over England

Sourav Ganguly’s India won the 3 Test series over Nasser Hussain’s England thanks to a 10 wicket win in Mohali in the 1st Test.

Deep Dasgupta struck his maiden Test century in Mohali.

The man of the series was Sachin Tendulkar who scored 307 runs including a brilliant 103 in the 2nd Test. Spin twins Kumble (19 wickets) and Harbhajan (13 wickets) were the stars for India with the ball.

For England, allrounder Craig White scored his maiden hundred (121) in the 2nd Test.
