South Africa beat Dutch jinx after Miller rescue act: 2024 T20 World Cup (New York)

David Miller's unbeaten half-century calmed a jittery South Africa batting lineup as they beat the Netherlands by four wickets to make it two wins from two.

The Dutch struggled early against Marco Jansen (2-20). Late resistance during a 54-run partnership between Sybrand Engelbrecht (45) and Logan van Beek (23) ensured the Dutch reached 103-9.

In reply, South Africa were tottering at 15-4 before Miller smashed 59 not out to rescue them and seal the win.

South Africa 106 for 6 (Miller 59*, Stubbs 33, Kingma 2-12, van Beek 2-21) beat Netherlands 103 for 9 (Engelbrecht 40, Baartman 4-11, Nortje 2-19, Jansen 2-20) by four wickets.
