Zampa, Warner crush England: 2024 T20 World Cup (Barbados)
David Warner and Adam Zampa were the stars as Australia cruised to victory over England by 36 runs with Jos Buttler's side looking at elimination.
Australia smashed 201 for seven after being sent in – the highest total of the tournament to date.
Mitch Marsh and his side then slammed the brakes on England to restrict them to 165 for six. Pat Cummins, returning to the side, sent down a masterful two for 23 from four overs, while Adam Zampa spun his way to two for 28.
Australia 201 for 7 (Warner 39, Marsh 35, Head 34, Stoinis 30) beat England 165 for 6 (Buttler 42, Cummins 2-23, Zampa 2-28) by 36 runs.
