Cummins hat-trick knocks over Bangladesh: 2024 T20 World Cup S8 (Antigua)

Skipper Pat Cummins took a hat-trick as Australia beat Bangladesh by 28 runs on the DLS method to start their Super 8s with a win.

Cummins (3-29) became the second Australian to take a hat-trick in a Men’s T20 World Cup match as the Tigers were restricted to 140-8.

In reply, veteran opener David Warner struck an unbeaten 53 before rain halted play, handing the win to Australia.

Bangladesh 140-8 (20 overs): Shanto 41 (36); Cummins 3-29 lost to Australia 100-2 (11.2 overs): Warner 53* (35); Rishad 2-23 by 28 runs on DLS method.
