Rohit leads charge into semis after win over Aussies: 2024 T20 World Cup S8 (Gros Islet)

Skipper Rohit Sharma's 92 from 41 balls helped India post 205-5 in St Lucia and took them into the semi finals.

Shivan Dube (28 in 22 balls) and Hardik Pandya (27 not out in 17 balls) lifted India with a 45 run stand at the end.

Travis Head's 76 kept Australia in the game before they finished 181-7 in reply.

India 205 for 5 (Rohit 92, Hazlewood 1-14) beat Australia 181 for 7 (Head 76, Arshdeep 3-37, Kuldeep 2-24) by 24 runs.
