Rohit, spinners crush England, get to final: 2024 T20 World Cup Semi Final (Providence)

Skipper Rohit Sharma smashed a fifty in a rain interrupted match as India beat England to sail into the final.

Sharma hit 57 off 39 and was supported by Suryakumar Yadav’s 47 off 36 as India posted 171-7.

In reply, Harry Brook provided resistance with 25 runs on 19 balls. England crumbled for 103 all out. Spinners Axar Patel and Kuldeep bagged three wickets each.

India 171 for 7 (Rohit 57, Suryakumar 47, Jordan 3-37) beat England 103 (Brook 25, Kuldeep 3-19, Axar 3-23) by 68 runs.
