Seales rattles England with late strikes, honours even: 3rd Test, Day 1 (Edgbaston)

Paceman Jayden Seales took two wickets late in the evening session as England surrendered the initiative to reach a shaky 38-3 at stumps.

Earlier, West Indies were well-placed at 76-0 but then lost 5-39 in a collapse in good batting conditions.

Jason Holder (59) found a solid ally in Joshua Da Silva (49) as the duo kept England at bay with a sixth-wicket partnership of 109. Atkinson took 4-67 as he continued to impress on the big stage.

England 38 for 3 (Crawley 18, Seales 2-19) trail West Indies 282 (Brathwaite 61, Holder 59, Atkinson 4-67, Woakes 3-69) by 244 runs.
