Bumrah skittles Bangladesh for 149: 1st Test, Day 2 (Chennai)

India gained a commanding lead in the first Test against Bangladesh thanks to paceman Jasprit Bumrah.

Bumrah's burst of 4-50 led a superb allround bowling performance from India as they bowled Bangladesh out for only 149.

Earlier, India's innings was cut short by Taskin, who bagged three quick wickets. Mahmud became the first Bangladesh pacer to bag a five-wicket haul. India folded quickly on Day 2, adding only 37 runs to their overnight total.

India 376 (Ashwin 113, Jadeja 86, Mahmud 5-83, Taskin 3-55) and 81 for 3 (Gill 33*) lead Bangladesh 149 (Bumrah 4-50, Deep 2-19, Jadeja 2-19) by 308 runs.
