1990: Devon Malcolm hits Teenage Sachin on the head (Manchester)
Young Sachin Tendulkar (68) was batting serenely when fiery paceman Devon Malcolm (1-96) produced a vicious delivery which hit the Indian on the back of the head.
Tendulkar hit a century in the 2nd innings, his first in England.
The 2nd Test was drawn after India managed to make 432 in reply to England’s 519.
