
The Gaddafi Stadium is owned by the Pakistan Cricket Board and operated by the Lahore Regional Cricket Association.
The original Lahore Stadium was established in 1959. It was renamed in 1974 as a tribute to the former Libyan Leader, Colonel Muammar Gaddafi. The stadium also houses the headquarters of Pakistan Cricket Board.
The current stadium capacity is 27,000.
Gaddafi Stadium hosted the final of the ICC Cricket World Cup in 1996.
