Fakhar, Minhas blitz SL as Pakistan clinch title: PAK Tri Nations Final (Lahore)

Fakhar Zaman smashed a century as Pakistan clinched the Pakistan Tri-Nation ODI Series title with a thrilling three-wicket victory over Sri Lanka in a high-scoring final.

Chasing 326, Pakistan reached 331 for seven with 9 balls remaining, inspired by a magnificent 127 from Fakhar Zaman. Saad Baig provided excellent support with 74. Arafat Minhas produced a blistering 61 to accelerate the chase.

Dilshan Madushanka was Sri Lanka's most successful bowler, claiming three wickets for 63 runs, but Pakistan's batting depth proved decisive in the tense finish.

Sri Lanka had earlier posted an imposing 325 for eight after Kamindu Mendis struck a superb 131 and Pavan Rathnayake contributed 77. Agha Salman and Shaheen Shah Afridi claimed two wickets each to restrict Sri Lanka's scoring in the closing stages.

Despite Mendis's outstanding century, Pakistan held their nerve in the chase to secure the trophy in front of their home supporters. Fakhar's commanding innings and Minhas's late assault proved instrumental in completing a memorable final victory.

Pakistan 331 for 7 (Fakhar 127, Baig 74, Minhas 61, Madushanka 3-63) beat Sri Lanka 325 for 8 (Kamindu 131, Rathnayake 77, Agha 2-44, Afridi 2-50) by three wickets.
