The Brian Lara Cricket Academy is based in Tarouba, San Fernando, Trinidad. International cricket commenced in July 2022 when it hosted the ODI between West Indies and India.
Built to hold 15,000 people in a mix of fixed seating and grass banks it is named after former West Indies cricket captain Brian Lara, one of the greatest batters to have played the game, and holder of the record for the highest individual Test match score.
The ground hosts the local Trinbago Knight Riders team.
