Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Cricket Stadium is located in Nava Raipur, Chhattisgarh, around 20 km from Raipur city. Opened in 2008, it is one of the largest cricket stadiums in India, with a seating capacity of about 65,000 spectators.
Named after tribal freedom fighter Veer Narayan Singh, the stadium is owned by the Government of Chhattisgarh and operated by the Chhattisgarh State Cricket Sangh. Its modern design includes floodlights, corporate boxes, media facilities, and wide seating tiers.
The venue gained international recognition in January 2023, when it hosted its first international match — an ODI between India and New Zealand, becoming India’s 50th international cricket venue. Since then, it has hosted ODIs, T20 Internationals, IPL matches, and major domestic tournaments. Known for its large boundaries and generally balanced pitches, the stadium has established itself as a key cricketing hub in central India, capable of hosting high-profile international and league fixtures.
