Moises Henriques was born on 1 Feb 1987 in Funchal, Portugal. He is a fast bowling all-rounder who bats and bowls right handed. He made his first class debut for NSW in 2006 and his ODI debut against India in 2009.
After suffering several injuries in 2010 and 2011, Henriques made a comeback to Australian colours during the ODI and T20 series at home against Sri Lanka and West Indies. This helped him leapfrog others into the allrounders spot as he earned his first test cap against India in Chennai in the 1st Test in Feb 2013, scoring 68.
