Accurate, classical off spinner
Mark Donald Craig was born 23 March 1987 in Auckland. He is a right arm off spin bowler who made his first-class debut for Otago in 2011.
After being sidelined with chronic fatigue syndrome, Craig forced his way into the NZ team when both Daniel Vettori and Jeetan Patel were unavailable against the West Indies in June 2014 at Kingston, Jamaica. In this Test debut match, Craig took the Man of the Match award for match bowling figures of 8 for 188. Craig also became the first cricketer in Test cricket to hit his first ball faced for six, during his unbeaten 7 in the second innings.
