
Shaun Young, born on 13 June 1970 in Burnie, Tasmania, was an all-rounder.
A left-handed batsman and right-arm fast-medium bowler, Young had a long domestic career, primarily representing Tasmania, and made a single Test appearance for Australia - against England at the Oval in 1997.
Over his first-class career, he played 138 matches, amassing 7,212 runs at an average of 37.95, including 14 centuries and 44 half-centuries. With the ball, he took 274 wickets at an average of 35.82, with best figures of 7/64.
